AI IN PRACTICE · EVENTS5
Keeping Events5 fresh.
With AI workers.
An event feed is only useful while its information is current. For Events5, AI-assisted workers help turn incoming event information into source-backed listings, while review and freshness checks govern what reaches people.
A Troofox product use case. The worker roles below explain the workflow; the example is illustrative.
THE OPERATIONAL CHALLENGE
Finding an event
is just the beginning.
Events5 helps people discover events using their location, interests, timing and feedback. Registration happens on the organizer or ticket provider’s website.
Information arrives in different shapes
Organizer pages, feeds and submitted links can describe the same event differently. A useful listing needs a clear date, location, attendance mode and registration route.
The details keep changing
Venues move, schedules change and events end. A listing that was correct when discovered can become misleading without another check.
Fresh does not always mean relevant
A newly discovered event may still be in the wrong city or unrelated to a person’s interests. Listing quality and personalized ranking solve different parts of the problem.
AI AGENTS, WORKING WITH BUSINESS RULES
A digital workforce
around the event lifecycle.
Think of AI workers as defined roles in a shared process. AI helps interpret information; software handles scheduling, identity checks and validation. People review uncertain or material changes.
- 01
Discover
Check enabled, permitted sources on their configured schedule. Queue new observations for processing. Source access, request limits and publication permissions remain separate.
- 02
Enrich
Extract and organize supported event facts. AI can help interpret descriptions and classifications. Dates, venues, prices and audience guidance need source evidence; missing facts stay unknown.
- 03
Compare & review
Match the event and its specific occurrence, identify duplicates and compare incoming details with the existing listing. Proposed corrections pass through change review before replacing established facts.
- 04
Refresh & recommend
Recheck eligible listings, retain the recorded check time and apply feed eligibility rules. Rank eligible events using location, timing, preferences and meaningful feedback.
Discovery is not automatic publication.
Finding a page or extracting a field does not make it ready for the feed. Source evidence, event identity, quality and review requirements still apply. Sources that require an operator’s browser observation retain that workflow.
AN ILLUSTRATIVE EXAMPLE
One workshop.
A changing venue.
This example explains the decision path; it is not a claim about a particular live event.
Before: a listing needs another check
A published Hyderabad workshop approaches its scheduled date. Its organizer page now names a different venue, while another page appears to describe a separate session.
The worker prepares the difference
The incoming observation is matched against the existing event and occurrence. The changed venue becomes a review proposal with supporting evidence. The separate session is held for identity resolution instead of overwriting the original.
After: an accepted correction informs discovery
Once reviewed and accepted, the venue correction updates the listing. The event must still satisfy freshness and other eligibility checks before it can be recommended. A failed page request alone would not establish cancellation.
WHAT THIS WORKFLOW SUPPORTS
Useful automation.
Accountable information.
Freshness with a trace
A recorded check time shows when facts were last checked against evidence. Loading a page does not renew that time, and it does not guarantee that tickets remain available.
Enrichment without invention
Source-backed fields make listings more useful. Unsupported claims stay out, and changed or ambiguous facts have a review path.
Relevance after eligibility
Completed or cancelled events leave active recommendations. Personalization works with eligible inventory; the feed stops when suitable inventory runs out.
How to evaluate a similar pilot
Measure the share of eligible listings checked within their freshness window, field accuracy against source evidence, duplicate rate, review turnaround and relevance feedback. Establish a baseline before claiming time savings or quality gains.
